Mothers Day Weekend at Lithia Artisans Market

Gene Nawrocki (aka, The Belt Guy) is a leather worker from La Pine, Oregon and a regular at the Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland, Oregon (LAMA).

The Lithia Artisans Market is a bit smaller this weekend, but still loaded with talented artists.  All of us at the market want to wish all of you mothers out there the very best this weekend. You have the hardest job in the world, and the most important… bringing up the next generation. Sending out big hugs to my mom, my kids mom, and all the moms. We honor you for giving us life, love, and comfort. Thank you.

One of the artisans you will find at the market this weekend is central Oregon resident, and leather worker extraordinaire, Gene Nawrocki (featured in the image above). Gene creates leather belts and fashion accessories that are made to last a lifetime. He has been making belts for 40 years, traveling from one art and craft fair to the next throughout the Pacific Northwest. He is a true veteran of the American Arts and Crafts Movement.

Lisa Eldredge Ceramics will have mugs and much more at the Lithia Artisans Market Ashland, Oregon (LAMA).

The Hat People of Talent, Oregon are back with us this weekend, as are 26 other crafty folk plying their handmade wares. You will find jewelry, soaps, body care products, pottery, clothing, sculpture, fine art, photography, woodwork, leather-work, crocheted wool hats, quilted pillows, and so much more.
