Tour Our Market
Let us take you on a tour around our marketplace……..
Just across the pedestrian bridge, near Lithia Artisans Market, lies a nature path waiting to be discovered. It hosts a variety of attractions that make it worth exploring including seating along Lithia Creek where you can get your feet wet and revive on hot summer afternoons.
The path’s most prominent architectural feature is the stairway that acts as a thoroughfare between Granite Street and the park trail. The stairway is home to the Arnie Krigel Memorial Sculpture Garden and hosts three permanent standing sculptures. At the top of the landing, the walkway becomes a colorful mosaic tile installation depicting fish and other creek life.
The path meanders along the creek and offers shade, public restrooms, and a learning kiosk. It is a cool place to rest and take in nature.
Directly across from our market is the entrance to the beautiful Lithia Park designed by John McLaren, landscape architect of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. It has miles of trails, waterways and garden features.
If you can find the Theather Walkway on the map, also known as the Shakespeare stairs, this will take you directly to the Oregon Shakespeare festival.
On the beautiful alley known as Calle Guanajuato, you will find our Market, creekside dining, and shops. On a beautiful day, it feels like the best place on earth.
