Saturday, Nov. 29: 10am-6pm

Sunday, Nov. 30: 11am-4pm

This event has evolved into being one of the best art and craft shows of the holiday season in southern Oregon. The event is a showcase for authentic, handcrafted items and is a great opportunity to purchase gifts from local craftsmen and women of the region. The event features jewelry of all kinds — hand-wrought copper, carved stone beads, silver smith settings, dichroic glass, lapidary art, lamp work glass, exquisite wire work, and much more. Up-cycled clothing, woodwork, photography, fine art, crocheted mittens, brooms, mobiles, pottery, body care products, and much more await the fair enthusiast.

Dan Elster, wildlife photographer extraordinaire, is the featured artisan this weekend. Everything in his booth is 20% OFF this weekend only!

Dan Elster, wildlife photographer extraordinaire, will be showing his amazing images at Christmas Faire, November 28th-30th.

Food and beverages are provided by Moni who used to run Grilla Bites on the plaza in Ashland. Additionally, live music fills the halls of the Historic Ashland Armory throughout the weekend. (See schedule below.)

Numerous new vendors have joined our family this past season and will be showing their art and craft at the upcoming Christmas Faire. One of those newbies is fine artist Erin Linton. Erin paints birds. She is also a bird rescuer. Erin’s original works are truly art from the heart. She saves her tea bags, cleans them, dries them and uses them as the canvas for her paintings. This technique, unique to Erin, makes for some really interesting textures, and amazing art pieces. Other new comers at this years event include weaver Lucy DeFranco, fine artist Rachel Fisher, drum maker Marta Quest, peacock feather artisan Li Harder, and lamp-work glass artist Leah Fairbanks.

Leah Fairbanks, a very gifted lampwork glass bead artist, is a new member of our guild and showing for her first time at Christmas Faire.

Many of our most veteran members will be showing at this years event. Your favorite potters will be at this show including Alissa Clark, Bill Francis, Holly Gonnella, and Donna Marie. Fine Art and Photography are well represented with landscape photographer Pat Moore and wildlife photographer Dan Elster leading the pack. English Toffee made by our own Jean and Kay of Recession Candy Company is the perfect sweet treat for this time of year, and available for purchase at the fair. There is such a great variety of wonderful things at this years event… too much to list them all here. You have to come to the event to get the full impact of all the cool artsy stuff.

Don’t miss this excellent show! It is a great opportunity to take care of those special folks on your holiday gift list, and bolster the local economy at the same time. Money spent locally tends to recycle over and over again locally.

This years event features live music all weekend.

Jacqui and Danny come to entertain us this Saturday, November 29th from 4-6pm. Can't wait.
