A Taste of Ashland is this weekend and we at Lithia Artisans Market are celebrating with outstanding art and music along Ashland Creek. I am very excited to announce that three of the four music acts booked for the weekend are musicians who will be gracing our stage for the very first time.
Art and music combine to make magic happen each weekend, and A Taste of Ashland weekend will be an inspiring one. Opening our market at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 28th will be the singer-songwriter Michelle Bellamy. Michelle has a rich, warm voice and conscious lyrics. Following Michelle is long time favorite Cole Cullen and Richard Cole, also know as the Cole-Cullen Duo (cool… right?). On Sunday we are treated to the classical music of local composer, and musical prodigy Tye Austin. His set is from 11:30 -1:30 Sunday, April 29th. Following Tye, from 3:00 – 5:00 is Adey. Adey Bell joins the ranks of such solo female virtuosos as Tori Amos, Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell, blending classically influenced piano composition with raw lyrical reflective intimacy. This is gonna be a lot of fun!

We have been blessed with two wonderful weekends to open our season, let’s continue with that energy and turn A Taste of Ashland weekend into a profitable one for all of us holding space and honoring the market tradition of art along Ashland Creek. Lithia Artisans Market is the hub of art and music in downtown Ashland, Oregon. Listen for the music on the plaza and follow the path down the masonic walkway to experience live music, locally created art and craft, and a family ambiance that is welcoming to all.
