39 artisans are signed up to show this upcoming weekend, April 27 and 28, at the Lithia Artisans Market. The town of Ashland is bustling this weekend for A Taste of Ashland. 17 galleries are participating in the event. It is a festive affair and the artisans market is happy to be a part of the happenings in downtown. Join us on Calle Guanajuato for Ashland’s own outdoor artisans market.

Featured in the photo above is fine artist Katrina Meister. Katrina creates images that resonate peacefully with the human psyche. I love her Koi paintings… meditative, tranquil, zen. Her use of empty space draws the viewer inward. Katrina’s art depicts familiar landscapes, places that entice us to slow down and ponder life for a moment. Timeless images that touch our soul.
We are pleased to announce the return of The Brothers Reed to our market stage on Saturday, April 27 from 2:30-4:30. This is the Brothers first time out this season. They held their latest CD release party at the Craterian Theater in Medford about two weeks ago. The place was sold out, packed. Their new album, Caught in a Dream, is a stripped down version of the Brothers sound. Beautiful songwriting throughout this album. This album is about life, death, truth, dogs and family.. crisp and raw and real. Thank you Aaron and Philip Reed.
