Dan Elster of Elster Photography, a highly gifted wildlife photographer, is a regular at Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland, Oregon (LAMA). Notice how the image of the owl behind Dan appears to come out of the photo and onto his shoulder. Love this!

Another full house at the Lithia Artisans Market this upcoming weekend. 35 artisans will be participating for the Taste of Ashland weekend in downtown Ashland. The market has been part of the Ashland art scene since 1983.  We are 34 years old this season. That is a pretty long run, and we hope to be here another 34 years and beyond.

It is Taste of Ashland weekend throughout downtown corridor. A great time to come out and mill about the town. People will be out tasting local wines and cuisine and wandering in and out of the galleries throughout town who are participating in the event. Lithia Artisans Market is honored to be part of the festivities.

SATURDAY 10-6 / SUNDAY 11-5

Located along Calle Guanajuato, Creekside in downtown Ashland, Oregon.

This weekend you will find all kinds of professionally crafted wares presented in a variety of booths along Calle Guanajuato. Leather work, wood work, clothing, jewelry, sculpture, body care products, fine art, photography, and much more will be available for the discerning patron to peruse at their leisure while enjoying the ambiance of the Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland.

Every weekend we feature live music from local singer-songwriters. All original tunes! I would like to point to the image below as a solid representation of what we all hold so dear — local craft, presented locally, by the folks who make it. In this case we see Aaron Reed, of The Brothers Reed, who performs strictly original tunes that he crafted, riding his bike with his guitar to the market to entertain us all and showcase his art-form. Support local, it matters!

Aaron Reed of the band The Brothers Reed are regulars at the Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland, Oregon (LAMA).
