I love the rain and the wind, but they do not play well with an outdoor artisans market. Canopies and umbrellas have been know to fly away on Calle Guanajuato during stormy weather. With that said, Saturday, April 7 is not looking like a great day to market; however, if we awake and it is beautiful, then we will be open. Sunday, April 8 looks much more promising and our plan is to be open on Sunday. I will update our facebook page on Saturday morning to announce if we are open or not. Go here…. facebook.com/lithiaartisansmarket
We have a small but mighty group signed up to participate this weekend. 20 artisans will be participating, likely on Sunday Only. Woodwork, jewelry, pottery, sculpture, hats, fine art, photography, and much more will be on display.
The Brothers Reed are back in town after a whirlwind nationwide tour that lasted from mid January until just a couple weeks ago. Their journey took them as far east as New York City with stops in Pittsburg, PA, Nashville, Tenn., and Austin, Texas, to name but a few. More than 30 gigs in the span of two months. We at the artisans market are very happy to have them back with us this season. They will be playing often at our market. They are on our stage this coming Sunday from 12-3pm. Stoked!
