Lithia Artisans Market. Calle Guanajuato on market day. Art Along Ashland Creek, Ashland, Oregon

It has been a long week with the 4th of July landing on a Wednesday. Thanks to all the artisans who participated on Independence Day. It was a blast! Everyone did pretty well and some artists had their best day ever on Calle Guanajuato.
This coming weekend looks great again with a full market, many new vendors, and exceptional, original musical talent. We have a special treat on Sunday afternoon as Spirit Vibrations Presents Clay Hawkins, a singer-songwriter from San Francisco.
Dubbed, ‘Late Night Boot Stompin’ Road Music from the Heart’, Clay Hawkins has released his best album to date, Road Soul One.  A delicious 14-track album containing a little bit of everything.  His finger-picking skills on both his resonator and acoustic guitars are comparable to that of John Butler and Leo Kottke, and his voice brings to mind the high lonesome landscapes of his native Arizona.  Together they carve out a terrain full of songs to explore again and again. Clay is currently touring throughout 2012 to promote, Road Soul One, officially released March 31, 2012.

Jen Ambrose plays on Saturday, June 7 from 3:00-5:00pm. Jen is always a musical treat. Lithia Artisans Market, Ashland, Oregon.
