Jacksonville Celebrates the Arts is this weekend. This annual event happens every Labor-Day Weekend. Ashland Celebrates the Arts every weekend at the Lithia Artisans Market. This juried art and craft show happens every weekend from mid-April through October. This show represents the best that southern Oregon and northern California have to offer in the realm of fine craft and art. We celebrate our 30th season this year. As the market manager I can tell you I count my blessings every day that we have this quaint little market along Ashland Creek.
Nothing wrong with being little. Some of the finest gifts are presented in tiny packages. We are small, but we are powerful. For its size, I believe Lithia Artisans Market to be one of the best artisans markets on the west Coast. I’ve been to many and I still find that the quality, diversity, and professionalism of Lithia Artisans Market to be equal to any outdoor market in the northwest.
It is Labor Day Weekend and Ashland’s oldest outdoor marketplace is jam packed with awesome art and craft. 41 vendors are signed up for this two day event! Woodwork by Larry Shinerock, jewelry of all kinds, macrame hemp by Ahlaya Pace, hats by the Hat People, hand crafted brooms by the Broom Mama, baby clothes, adult clothing, hand sculpted beads, and the list goes on… Come on by and support your local artisan. It matters!!!
