We are thrilled to share some exciting news about one of our talented artists, Leah Fairbanks. She has been selected as one of just 20 glass bead artists from around the world to participate in the prestigious International Exhibit during Venice Italy Glass Week in September 2023.
The jury had the difficult task of choosing from an impressive array of applications from 15 different countries. The exhibit was created with the aim of promoting and safeguarding the art of Venetian Glass Beads, and it is a true honor for Leah to be a part of it.
Leah’s beads (shown above) will become a permanent part of the Murano Glass Museum Collection. This is an incredible recognition of her skill and creativity, and we are so proud to have her as a part of our community of artists at the Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland.
