It is Ashland Independent Film Festival Weekend. The art-film offerings at the festival are always top notch. The town of Ashland is bustling and the Lithia Artisans Market is rolling right along with our biggest showing of the season. 33 artists are signed up to show this weekend, April 13 and 14. The weather looks promising for Saturday but threatening for Sunday. We will be out in force on Saturday morning.

Featured in the photo above is the sgraffito pottery of Lisa Eldredge. Lisa is showing with us for the first time this season. Welcome back! Constantly playing with new glaze recipes and ever in search of the perfect sized mug, Lisa is an evolving artisan who loves to tinker with design. It is inspiring to watch people grow in their art-form. I always look forward to seeing what is new in her booth.
You will discover all kinds of handcrafted items this weekend along Ashland Creek: metal-smith jewelry, paintings, clothing, photography, glass work, woodwork, leather, and much more. Ashland’s own outdoor artisans market is located behind the downtown plaza on a quaint alleyway known as Calle Guanajuato. Peruse locally made art and craft while listening to live music and the babbling creek. Join us in support of locally crafted goodness!
