What a wild week of intense weather in Ashland, Oregon. Summer lightning storms set off a half dozen or so small wildfires in the area around Ashland. Our thoughts are with the crews out battling the blazes. Let’s all keep a good thought that these fires are kept at bay and extinguished quickly. The show must go on… and so we at the Lithia Artisans Market are back on Calle Guanajuato this coming weekend selling our handcrafted wares as we move into the second half of our outdoor market season.
30 artisans are participating this coming weekend displaying items unique to the region. Clothing, fine art, woodwork, jewelry, and much more. If you are worn out from a tough work week you can even get a chair massage with our market masseuse Cathy Moore. This weeks featured artisan is Mila Valenta of Full Moon Hula-Hoops. Mila has been a member of the market for about 7 years. She brings a unique flavor to the Lithia Artisans Market creating some of the most functional and fun hula hoops you will find anywhere. Her hoops are great! I own one and can attest to them being of exceptional quality. Come by and try out a hoop. She makes them in different sizes and weights so you can get the perfect hoop to take home and practice. Everything in her booth is 10% OFF as Mila is the Artisan of the Week.
