There will be over 40 artisans showing at the Lithia Artisans Market this weekend, Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 11-5. Forty sets of hands worked with love and care to create every item on display at Ashland’s original Saturday Market. This weekend we feature pottery, fine art, jewelry of all kinds, clothing, hand painted silk scarves, screen printed art t-shirts, sculpted metal, woodwork, carved stones, photography and so much more. Great music, great art and craft, and community coming together to celebrate the artist within each of us. Join Us and Support Handmade Local.
This weekend we feature the hands of our very own Alissa Clark. She will soon be embarking on a new adventure. Alissa and her guy, Nathan, are moving to Florence, Oregon. Alissa will be missed… tremendously. Her presence, her art, her way of being has resonated positively throughout our community for years. Now her calling is the central Oregon coast and the start of a new chapter. Alissa will be busy as she is opening her own gallery and studio space right in the heart of Florence. Don’t worry, she promises to visit often, and she is still showing at the market until the end of September. Catch her while you can! This weekend she and Larry Shinerock of Creative Woodwork will be set up down by Mix on the corner of Calle Guanajuato and Main Street. We wish her all the best in her new digs.
