This weekend the Lithia Artisans Market is full with 38 artisans signed up to show over the course of the two days. The Market features locally handmade items presented by the creators. Jewelry, woodwork, clothing, metal work, fine art, photography, drums, pottery and so much more. Live music presented by local singer songwriters throughout the weekend.
Lithia Artisans Market is finally able to say, our banners are up! They are nicely presented at the front of Lithia Park and up along Winburn Way in front of the Community Center building. They look great! This project has been a long time in the making. I want to sent out a huge thanks to Holly Gonnella for her work on this project. It would not have come out so great without you! Another big thanks to John Higley of Higley Design here in Ashland. He is a great graphics artist, a professional, and a pleasure to deal with. I, Marcus Scott, shot the photos and worked with Holly on the design team for the past 17 months. We have come along way.
The Lithia Artisans Market would also like to thank the City of Ashland for their help in making this day possible. The banners, fresh off the presses at Best Signs of Medford, went up thanks to Hunter Communications and their boom truck. The two banners are two sided. The featured artisans on each are Lisa Eldredge Ceramics, the hands of Alissa Clark Clayworks, Jim Young of Hat People, and Amy Goddard-Navickas of Amy Folk Art. Thank you all for your patience and participation in this project. It keeps evolving! Look for the banners when you are walking around town.
