The Lithia Artisans Market is open this weekend, Saturday and Sunday 10am-3pm. A small but mighty crew of local artists and crafty folk are signed up to participate this upcoming weekend. We are coordinating our weekends with the Downtown Ashland Summer Celebration. This weekend we are celebrating wildlife at the Lithia Artisans Market. I can think of no finer representative of wildlife than our very own Dan Elster.

Featured in the photo above is wildlife photographer Dan Elster. Dan is a veteran Lithia Artisans Market member. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Dan and his wife Patty fell in love with the Ashland area during a country wide tour 17 years ago. In 2006 they permanently moved to Ashland where they have raised their two children, Forest and Savannah, and Dan’s career as a wildlife photographer has blossomed. Last year Dan published his first photo book, Wild Animals in Wild Places. The book is stunning and full of  Dan’s favorite subjects, the wildlife of our region. This weekend Dan’s booth will be set up in the front of Lithia Park. Come by and say hello, from a safe distance…

Kris Daly has a line of fashionable, functional cloth face masks this season.

NEW HOURS: Saturdays and Sundays 10:00am-3:00pm

We continue to be able to stay open because people are respecting the protocols this season. Thank you! The artists appreciate your cooperation. When you come down to visit the market please remember to mask up and practice social distancing. The market provides hand sanitizer throughout the market.

Remember our motto for 2020, “distance is kind, six feet is love.”  It is up to us folks!
