The predominate color, or lack thereof, in the Rogue Valley for the past month has been gray. Haze from nearby wildfires has created poor visibility and lack of clarity. If you wish to escape the gray, look no further than the Lithia Artisans Market along Ashland Creek. Color abounds at the marketplace, and it is difficult to stay in a gray funk with so much beauty everywhere you turn. Come on by to brighten your mood and take a piece of color home. Nothing like that first cup of coffee from an Alissa Clark original mug, or placing one of Natalie Stawsky’s flowers in your hair, or gazing at that colorful photo on your wall by local landscape artist-photographer Pat Moore. All of this and so much more await the market patron.
Nearly 40 artisans will be showing this weekend… handmade brooms, journals made from old album covers, hand sculpted stone beads from the southern Oregon beaches, pounded copper pendants, cribbage boards hand crafted from manzanita branches, hats of all shapes and sizes, jewelry galore, kids and adult clothing, photography, fine art and so much more. This is our second biggest weekend of the season, and the weather is predicted to be perfect. Low 80’s is what the weatherman is calling for in Ashland. Not to mention, the live music scene is alive and well at the market. Check out the music schedule below.
