Happy Fathers Day Weekend! We are happy to announce that 40 local artists and fine craftspeople will be joining us at the Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland, Oregon. Calle Guanajuato, the alleyway behind the plaza, will be full of colorful booths showcasing all kinds of art and handcrafted wares. Jewelry, photography, woodwork, sculpture, clothing, leather, paintings, and so much more will be on display.

Congratulations to all the graduates at universities throughout our state. You kids make all us dads and moms real proud. Keep up the good work! The world needs you all now more than ever. Go out there and change the world.

Featured in the photo above is Dennis Christlieb of DC Woodwork. He makes jewelry boxes that are super functional. If you collect small items like stones, old beads, marbles, or jewelry, these boxes will help keep things organized while being stylish at the same time. All of Dennis’s woodwork is functional and made to cabinet maker specifications. His wood items work perfectly for the job they are intended. Dennis is a perfectionist and always evolving his concepts. Little tweaks in simple design make things work that much better.

The weekend market is a great place to bring your dad, grab some breakfast or lunch in town, and peruse the various art and craft along Ashland Creek. The chances are good that dad will find something for himself or for his kids or wife. That is kinda how dads roll…
