Midsummer is upon us, and Midsummer Nights Dream is playing at the Shakespearean Festival. Tonight is Solstice Eve, Spring is passing, Summer is here. You wouldn’t know it from the temperatures, but trust that hot weather is just around the corner. The Lithia Artisans Market is up and running at full tilt! 36 artisans are signed up for the weekend. Lots of old friends, and some new folks to welcome into our midst. Kira Belan will be showing her body care products for the third weekend. We have a special treat, her husband Brett Belan will be playing his original music for us on Sunday morning from 11:30-1:30. What a gifted family.
Donna Marie has not shown in over a year, but she is back to join the family. She will be in The Village this weekend. Be sure to welcome her home.
The market is so full of awesome art and craft that the “Fine Art Village” will once again be open for business. Pat Moore Photography, Catherine McElroy Fine Art, and our old friend Donna Marie Pottery will be holding down the fort in our well received overflow space. Donna has been away from us for the past year so we are honored to have her back in the family of artisans along Ashland Creek. There is so much renewed interest in the new Art and Craft Movement that places like Lithia Artisans Market are bursting at the seams.
