Lithia Artisans Market is the oldest outdoor market in Southern Oregon, and it just keeps growing and getting better every week. This last Thursday we accepted two more excellent artisans into our family. This puts us up to about 90 members of the Lithia Artisans Market collective.
This coming weekend we are honored to have two new acts playing on the Lithia Artisans Market stage. Phoenix Sigalove plays Saturday afternoon at Ashlands’ original outdoor market, and Sunday morning we welcome the belly dance troupe called “Turkish Delight” featuring Dawn KC as the bellydancer, Jef Ramsey on mandolin, and Keth Molyneaux on percussion.
This is the strongest start to our market season in the last few years. It feels like the market I joined back in 1994, vibrant, fresh, and always changing. I am honored to be your new manager, and psyched to be at the helm as we journey through 2012 together. I cannot think of a better way to spend my weekend than at the Art-Walk along Ashland Creek, in the beauty of lower Lithia Park. We are all so blessed.
