The Lithia Artisans Market takes the show indoors for the final three weekends leading up to Christmas 2014. Open Saturdays 10-6 and Sundays 11-5, the Holiday Market at the Briscoe ArtWing is a cozy, family friendly location to do your holiday shopping while enjoying live music, food, and reverie. 35 artisans will be showing their unique wares throughout the market. Jewelry, pottery, clothing, hats, photography, woodwork, fine art, chocolates and so much more await the patron. If you are looking for that special one of a kind gift item, or the perfect stocking stuffer, you owe it to yourself to check out the Holiday Market. The Holiday Market is located at the old Briscoe Elementary School, a few blocks north of the plaza in Ashland, 265 North Main, corner of Laurel.
As is the case every year, we will be welcoming new vendors who have never shown with us in the past. This year we will have a new glass artist, Andrew (Turtle) Way, a wood toy maker, Roger Funk, and a couple more surprises throughout the three weekend event. Every weekend is something just a little bit different. I am also happy to announce that Margarita (“Marca”) Castillo-Bernard will be joining us for the first weekend, this coming Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7. Coming down from Portland, Marca makes magical dolls and whimsical figures that are so imaginative and playful… they always get my undivided attention. Fairy tales are made of such.
Live music will fill the hall at the ArtWing every weekend thru Sunday Dec. 21st. Here is the music schedule for the upcoming weekend.
