The Holiday Market at the Briscoe ArtWing has become a tradition in Ashland. 35 local artists and creative folks come together in celebration of community, art, craft, and the joy of the holiday season. We are always grateful this time of year to have a warm indoor location to sell our wares. The old Briscoe Elementary School on the corner of North Main and Laurel, four blocks north of downtown Ashland, is a wonderful old brick building that has devoted the southwest wing of the old campus into art studios. For the next three weekends the hallway and many of the studios will be open to the public. A great opportunity to purchase handmade gifts directly from the maker.
Briscoe ArtWing Holiday Market
Open Weekends Until Christmas
Saturdays 10-6 / Sundays 11-5
This years Holiday Market will feature wooden spoons, pottery, feather earrings, up-cycled clothing, smithed copper and silver jewelry, lamp-wound glass, salsas, jams, hats, fine art, chocolates, woodwork, photography, and so much more. Live music will fill the hallway everyday (full music schedule below). All the studios that are open to the public will be serving hospitality drinks and snacks. Placed strategically throughout the event you will find candy-cane striped boxes and raffle tickets. Patrons can fill out the tickets and place them in the boxes. It is free to enter. We will draw one lucky name every Sunday for a $50 gift certificate redeemable at any of the events sponsored by the Lithia Artisans Market.
Every weekend will feature different artisans, so make it a point to visit often so you don’t miss anything. This event is free to the public and a fundraiser for the Ashland School District. A portion of every dollar spent at the festival will be donated to the School District. Besides, purchasing from local folks helps the local economy thrive. Buying from artisans is a win-win situation. Support local, it matters!
