Cooling trend coming for the weekend with temperatures backing off into the low 90’s. Should be a perfect weekend to come down to Ashland Creek, along Calle Guanajuato in downtown Ashland for the Lithia Artisans Market. 35 artisans are signed up to participate over the course of this weekend, July 19 and 20. Locally crafted beads, fine art, pottery, jewelry, clothing, handmade soaps, and much more will line the creekside walkway both Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 11-5. Live music throughout the day. This weeks featured artisan is Rose Gerstner of Sympatico Clothing. Her line of natural fiber clothing is sophisticated, timeless, and well crafted. Using traditional lines and shapes that have stood the test of time, and blending that with some of the industries most beloved Earth friendly finers, hemp/Tencel, Rose creates clothing that is beautiful, practical, and made to last. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and easy going, making a visit to her open air shop a joyful experience. She is also the President of the Board of the Lithia Artisans Market.
