Artist and poet Namid Wolf makes dreamcatchers and creates art with poetry at the Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland (LAMA).

Another full market. We are 38 artisans strong and ready for another magical weekend along the creek in downtown Ashland. It is always a little cooler down by the creek. Join Us!

SAT 10-6 SUN 11-5

This weekend you will discover woodwork, jewelry galore, fine art, mobiles made from driftwood, clothing, body care products, Native American style drums, leather, photography, silk screened t-shirts, tie-die, pottery, and much more handcrafted goodness. Everything you see at the market is made by the people showing. There is no middle man, just the art and the artist.

Dreamcatchers by Namid Wolf, background is stone bead jewelry by Marcus Scott. Both regulars at the Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland (LAMA).

Featured in the photo above is artist Namid Wolf. Namid has been a member of the market for just two seasons. In that time she has quickly dug down deep into herself and touched that creative essence which allows for inspiration to constantly bubble to the surface. It is fun to watch a new artist push their own creative boundaries. She is in the process of doing just that. Her dreamcatchers are well made, sacred, and full of heart. Ever evolving as an artist, this past week she introduced us to a brand new product line. She is a wordsmith, a true poet. Verses flow from her. Her newest creations are a blend of poetry and images. Poetry for your wall. They are a new item that is hard to describe without seeing it in person. Come down to see for yourself. She is always busy making dreamcatchers, or typing at her old typewriter at her table along the creek.

It is a great weekend to peruse the market. We even have a brand new artist joining our ranks. Amaru is new to town and makes kinetic metal sculptures with captured glass. Another artists work you have to see in person. His sculptures are a trip. Welcome Amaru and family to southern Oregon.
