37 artists and crafty folk are signed up to show their wares this weekend at the outdoor market along the creek in downtown Ashland.
Open Saturday from 10-6 and Sunday from 11-5.
This weekend you will discover all sorts of handcrafted jewelry… forged metal framing Oregon agates and jaspers by Dan Clark, lamp-worked glass sculptures you can wear by Leah Fairbanks, dichroic glass by Diane Berry, perfectly executed wire work by Karina Mendoza-Wittke and much more. Pottery is well represented with Bill Francis, Lisa Eldredge, and Amanda Higgins all showing their mugs and such. You will also discover woodwork, fine art, felted scarves, painted silk, clothing, kinetic sculpture, photography, tie-die t-shirts and much more. Everything you see at the market is made by the folks showing.
Featured in the image above is a brand new member of our market, Amanda Higgins. Amanda creates beautiful, colorful images out of clay. Her imagination shines bright as she sculpturally conjures the female embodiment in many form. The goddess shines throughout much of Amanda’s work. Bringing forth art from clay. Her mugs and small bowls feature sgraffito work, they are wonderful! Your artisan family welcomes you to your new art space along the creek. Glad to have you on board.
