It has already been a busy week. Independence day was just yesterday. Happy belated 4th of July y’all! Hope you are recovering and ready for the weekend. The market is once again full this weekend with 39 artisans showing their creations along Calle Guanajuato. The weather looks warmer but still very pleasant. We are looking forward to a wonderful market along the creek.

OPEN SATURDAY 10-6 AND SUNDAY 11-5

I am so amazed at the talented folks who continue to join our guild of artists and fine craftspeople. Yesterday we had a visitor from our sister city Guanajuato, Mexico. Loreta Ragnel Villasenor was our guest and her art was well received by the July 4th festival crowd. Loreta is the artist who created the mural at the top of our market, which has become a photo shoot opportunity for everyone who wanders past it. It was our honor to host her and her art here at the Lithia Artisans Market.

Featured in the photo above is new artist Lori Agnew. Lori has a whimsical take on the natural world and is inspired by the subject matter in her own backyard. Her water colors depict iconic landmarks from the State of Jefferson. Mt. Shasta, Pompadour Bluff, Pilot Rock, Mt. Ashland and other familiar landscapes mix with bears and butterflies creating playful, colorful art that brightens up any space. We are happy Lori has joined our ranks at the Litha Artisans Market.

Join us this upcoming weekend! It looks like another magical weekend on Calle Guanajuato. The market meanders behind the plaza buildings along Ashland Creek. We are open every weekend from now until the end of October.
