This weekend is the last outdoor showing of the Lithia Artisans Market. October 27,Saturday from 10:00-5:00, and Sunday, October 28th from 11:00-5:00. It has been an awesome season! Let us bring forth warmth and sun for the weekend as we let the outdoor season pass. 20 plus artisans, great new music, the leaves are turning and there is no better place to hang out than along Ashland Creek. We loosen it up a bit this weekend as we welcome the celtic rock band, “Brother”, into our midst. Check out the video below for a sample taste. I saw these two, Angus and Drew, at the Green Show last summer. Wow! This will be a treat. Saturday, October 26 from 11:30-1:30.
Our own Natalie Stawsky modeling her new sweater-jacket created by Jasmine Patten of Dervish Clothing. Natalie makes the sweet flowers you see on the pockets. Fall is a great time at the market. Both of these artisans will be at the upcoming Christmas Fair and Holiday Market.
I have been checking out the hand crafted items that come out for the Fall season. One of my favorite new artisans at the market is Jasmine Patten of Dervish Clothing. Every one of her up-cycled sweater jackets is a one of a kind. What a bummer she doesn’t make stuff like this for men. You gals have a real pro at your disposal. We go indoors for Christmas Faire at the Historic Ashland Armory in Ashland, Oregon on the corner of Oak and B Streets. This is one of the best Holiday gift buying opportunities in the valley with 50 local artisans, live original music all weekend, and food prepared by Moni from Grilla Bites. The show takes place Thanksgiving Weekend, Friday November 23rd from 10:00am-7:00pm, Saturday November 24th from 10:00-6:00, and Sunday November 25th from 11:00-4:00. Don’t miss this one!
Holiday Market will then be open all four weekends leading up to Christmas in December. Every weekend at the Briscoe ArtWing, 265 North Main, Saturdays 10-6:00 and Sundays 11:00-5:00.
