It has been a fabulous season. Over twenty new artisans joined our family this season. New pottery, new jewelry, journals made from old lp album covers, rustically cool brooms, leather work, new photography, body care products and so much more. Thank you all for putting your creative energy out there and making it happen. I am so honored to help make this market happen, and so blessed to get to watch all of you do what you do. You make a difference, and you keep the flame burning. It is so important to pass the torch and continue to make things with your hands, engage your creative mind, and bring love and joy to the world. In this fast paced world of electronic gadgets, and mass produced plastic junk, true craftsmanship is on the wane. So.. thank you!

This is the final weekend of the outdoor market. We take a few weeks to gear up for the Holiday Season and then we take our market indoors. Thanksgiving weekend us artisans will once again take over the Historic Ashland Armory for three days of local art and craft, live music, and revelry. This is the 13th Annual Lithia Artisans Christmas Fair, and it is shaping up to be the best of the bunch. 48 artisans will be showing and the lineup looks impressive. So much talent! Stay tuned as we get closer to the event as this page will update and highlight many of the artisans and musicians who will be part of the event.
We have endured a difficult season on a lot of fronts. Sort of a “Murphy’s Law” year in many respects. More rain-out days than we have had in previous seasons, the Calle Guanajuato constantly being torn up or marked up, and some of the worst forest fire smoke in the valley in over a decade. In fact, there were days that I could barely see across the street. It was like being on the wrong side of the campfire for weeks. But we survived, and we have had a great season despite the challenges. I look forward to the upcoming holiday markets, and working with all of you into the upcoming 2014 season. Blessings to you all, artisans and patrons alike. Onward we roll!
