Featured in this photo is Sunny Lindley of Sundial Arts. Sunny is super creative and an advocate for the local arts and crafts movement. Sunny makes fashionable clothing and crocheted hats, as well as a line of silk screen printed original art on all kinds of fun and comfy clothing. She is a big asset to this community and we appreciate her.

Meet the artisan and support local this holiday season. It makes a powerful economic statement when you purchase directly from the maker of an item. Years of trial and error experimentation lead to a deeper understanding of craft, the tricks of the trade, the eye of the artist. That is what you are supporting when you purchase gifts from local artisans at the market. That is part of how we create the world in which we want to live. Now more than ever.

Our good friend Moni from the old Grilla Bites restaurant will have warm, healthy food and coffee available all weekend. Reasonable prices, great food.

Katrina Meister, Fine Artist, will be showing at the Lithia Artisans Christmas Faire. Thanksgiving weekend at the Historic Ashland Armory.

The Lithia Artisans Christmas Faire supports the Ashland Festival of Lights. The Festival of Lights ushers in the beginning of the holiday season. The parade is a wonderful family event. Lighting a candle in dark places is a symbol of hope. The Lithia Artisans embrace hope and community.

This is a time to come together as community. Gathering in public places we pick each other up, we carry on through turbulent times, we see each other and sometimes that is all it takes. As artists and craftspeople, we reinvent the world every day. This holiday season we should honor our diversity, honor our creative endeavors, and support each other. Love one another.
