“Oh, oh, oh, it’s magic, you know… Never believe it’s not so.” 1975, Pilot

Today is Harry Potters Birthday. In keeping with the theme of the week for the Summer Celebration in Ashland, we are celebrating the magic of Hogwarts, imagination, and dreamers at the Lithia Artisans Market. I’ve often thought that Calle Guanajuato was like our own Diagon Alley. Magic happens every weekend at the Lithia Artisans Market.

Alchemists of all kinds show their wares at Ashland’s original outdoor market, behind the plaza along Ashland Creek. Silver smiths, glass bead makers, stone cutters, wood workers, quilt makers and more. You can find us in front of Lithia Park and along Calle Guanajuato in Downtown Ashland, Oregon.

OPEN SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS 10:00AM-3:00PM

Featured in the photo above is fine artist Jessica Johnson. Her pieces are truly magical and take the viewer to other worlds and new dimensions. Her use of color and light has to be seen in person to truly be appreciated. I bought one of Jessica’s newer pieces a couple weeks ago, gazing at it brings me a great deal of peace.

It is the new mandate from the Oregon Health Authority that everyone wear a mask outside when 6 feet of distancing is not guaranteed. When you are engaging with one of our many local artisans please remember to wear your mask. It is a common courtesy. We are creating lots of social distance space so everyone enjoys a safe shopping experience.Thank you!
