Membership Information
The Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland (LAMA) is a non-profit organization of artists and craftspeople whose members mostly reside in Southern Oregon and Northern California. The Market strives to be a community of members that enhances the experiences of visitors to Ashland by providing a festive, positive, and engaging atmosphere of creativity.
LAMA invites participation by individuals who have achieved and take pride in a level of professionalism in their art/craft. We encourage artists and craftspeople with distinctive work to apply for membership. Members are given the flexibility to show one or both days of any weekend during the Market season which begins mid March and runs through October (or mid November weather permitting) of every year. There are no minimum number of show days required for membership.
Participation in Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland involves an initial jury process by which prospective members present samples of their work to the Jury Committee. There is a Jury fee (currently non-refundable $25). The current yearly membership is $65, or $75 if paid after May 1st. New members always pay $65, no penalty for payment after deadlines. Membership renewal is annual; no re-jurying is required unless the artwork has changed. Those details are explained further in the Jury Guidelines (below). Upon acceptance to LAMA the new member should familiarize themselves with the Artisan Handbook (below) which has detailed information about procedures regarding participation.

The Jury Committee meets on Thursdays, in the upper Lithia Park, from 4:00pm – 7:00 pm. Please follow the link below for our list of meeting dates.
To Jury, call the Market Manager, Marcus 541 301-9811 to schedule your presentation. Print the Membership Application and bring it to your scheduled presentation time.
