Scott Carlson is a new glass artist at the Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland (LAMA). Welcome!

The Lithia Artisans Market is rolling into Memorial Day Weekend with a jam-packed full house. 46 artists and crafty folk will be showing their creations over the course of the upcoming weekend. Our biggest weekend so far of the 2018 season. If we get much bigger we will have to create space where there appears to be none. Let’s see what kind of creative arrangements will transpire in the near future.

OPEN SATURDAY 10-6 & SUNDAY 11-5 (not open Monday, Memorial Day)

We are really excited about all the new items being shown at the market this season.  Artisans are coming out of the woods… literally. Scott Carlson makes his blown glass in his shop out in the foothill forests of the Siskiyou Mountains in Phoenix, Oregon (featured this week in the image above). His pieces are quality crafted glass art that is functional as well as colorfully mesmerizing. There’s something about the way light hits glass and spreads color. Love it!

This weekend you will discover all sorts of locally crafted art-forms displayed up and down Calle Guanajuato. Hand-cut stones, blown glass, photography, fine art, pottery, leather work, woodwork, jewelry, sculpture, metal work, lamp-worked glass, clothing, body care products, handmade soap, hats, and much more.

Every Saturday and Sunday the Calle transforms into a magical marketplace, an outdoor art show in Ashland, Oregon. Located behind the plaza shops on Calle Guanajuato.

Rod Petrone is a classical guitarist who plays regularly at the Lithia Artisans Market Ashland (LAMA).
