The weather looks lovely and 44 local artists and fine craftspeople are signed up to show this upcoming weekend at the Lithia Artisans Market. Fall is the best time of the year to visit downtown Ashland. The leaves are turning colors, the air is cool and clean, and the artisans are still in full swing as the days grow shorter.

Featured in the photo above is the work of one of our newest members, Eliza Hamilton. Many of you will recognize her distinct art as she has been a part of the Ashland Art Center for a long time. She is a true artist and meticulous in her detailed approach to the art-form of felting. In her spare-time she casts large bronze sculptures of her mythical creatures. All from the uniquely creative mind of the artist. We are so happy she joined us this year. Love her energy.
Join us this weekend at the Lithia Artisans Market, the art-walk along Ashland Creek on Calle Guanajuato. Only four weekends left in the outdoor season, a great reason to come out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather. Visit your favorite local artisans, grab some lunch, and take a stroll through Lithia Park. You will be glad you did.
