The harvest moon was last night, a bountiful time as we reap what we sow. Once again the artisans market is full of a beautiful array of varied art forms made locally by crafts-folk of our region. You will discover forged metal jewelry, fine art, pottery, leather work, folk art, photography, natural fiber clothing, candles, hand made soap, weavings, woodwork, carved stones, hats, and much more.
41 artisans are signed up to participate this upcoming weekend. One of our bigger shows of the season! Fall is such a great time to meet the local guild of artisans at the market and start thinking about the gift giving season that is right around the corner.
We are located on Calle Guanajuato, behind the downtown Ashland plaza, along Ashland Creek. Open outdoors until the last weekend in October, weather permitting.
NEW HOURS FOR FALL SAT. 10-5 ~ SUN. 11-5
Featured in the image above is local landscape photographer Tim Hallam. Tim shows regularly at the market, and is one of a growing number of young, newly emerging artists who are making their way at the Lithia Artisans Market. Tim has been showing for a couple years now and his presentation and image selection continues to impress. He finds a way of presenting local places of interest from a true artists perspective while blending an engineers mind of balance, proportion, and attention to detail. Tim Hallam is a wonderful addition to our market, and one hell of a nice guy to boot.
Join us this weekend! The weather looks great, there is a lot going on in town, and the artisans market is absolutely jam packed with magical handcrafted goodness.
