It is October, therefore it is a time of harvest. A festival atmosphere is in the air. It is a time to gather together our abundance. The harvest comes in many forms for each farmer, each artisan or artist. Each of us has planted a seed at some point and tended that plant, that vision. We reap what we sow. October is the time to bring in that harvest and turn it to useful purpose. That is the mission of those who plant the seed. Carry it through until fall and reap the reward of hard work.
As we honor this month of harvest festivals, let us at the Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland pledge to revel with you by bringing the best of our artistic harvest to market. It is never too early to start your search for the perfect holiday gift. The artisans market is a great place to start that exploration.
Only 4 outdoor markets remain in our outdoor season. We typically wrap up the last weekend of October. That is presently our plan of action. The countdown is on as we start to gear up for the holiday season.
Because of earlier sunsets the market is now closing at 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Join us this weekend down by the creek!
