When the market is packed, our overflow space has been affectionately called “The Village”. The Market is so huge this weekend that “The Village” is open for business. Featured in this photo is our own Kris Daly, quilt-maker extraordinaire.

We have been wondering, “where has the sun gone?” Well, it is returning with gusto. The forecast for the coming weekend is stellar with temperatures hovering around the mid-80’s. The local artisans will be out en masse. For the first time this season we will be opening “The Village” in our adjacent space across the Winburn Street bridge. Almost 40 artisans are signed up to participate for the first weekend in June. Everything you see at the Lithia Artisans Market is made by the people selling it… photography, fine art, jewelry, clothing, quilts, glass beads, stone beads, sculpture, woodwork, pottery, and so much more. There is always something new to see on Calle Guanajuato.
It is also graduation weekend for the Ashland High School senior class. Congratulations class of 2013! Get out there and make your mark in this world. All of you proud parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents, while you are in town for the celebration, come on by the artisans market and peruse the high quality selection of handcrafted wares, listen to locally produced music, or grab lunch at any of the fine restaurants along Ashland Creek.
Looking forward to the return of Patchy Sanders to the Lithia Artisans Market stage, Sunday, June 2 from 3-5pm. They are great!
