Gene Nawrocki makes all kinds of cool leather goods. A regular at the Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland, Oregon.

More than 35 local artists and crafty folk will be joining us at the market this upcoming weekend. The alleyway behind the plaza in downtown Ashland comes alive every Saturday and Sunday. Colorful booths full of locally crafted items line the walkway known as Calle Guanajuato.

It looks like a wonderful fall weekend to take a stroll through Ashland’s outdoor artisans market. You will discover oil and watercolor paintings, photography, woodwork, jewelry, sculpture, clothing, woven fabrics, pottery, and much more. It is never too early to start thinking about the holidays. The Lithia Artisans Market is a great place to find that one of a kind gift for that special person in your life.

If you are a local artist, now is the time to start making plans for the holiday season. The Lithia Artisans Market offers two opportunities to sell your creations during the holiday season. Our first indoor show takes place at the Ashland Armory over Thanksgiving Weekend, November 23, 24 and 25. Our second holiday show will take place December 14, 15, and 16 at the Medford Armory. Applications for these events are available at the membership information page of our website. You will find the applications as separate documents under the heading called Special Events. The managers phone number is available on the page. Please feel free to call if you are a prospective artisan.
