Awesome belts by Gene Nawrocki. The “belt-man” is back in town for the first time in awhile.
This week proved it, cooler temperatures and wetter weather patterns are upon us. Crater Lake got 7 inches of snow, and before the end of September. Wow! The show must go on and such is the case with the Lithia Artisans Market. We are full throttle with 32 artisans signed up for the weekend and a great schedule of music. Many within our family of crafty-folk were on the road last weekend as the North Country Faire in Arcata, California was rockin’, rollin’, and rainin’. We are happy to Welcome a bunch of you back into our midst.
The forecast is calling for 70+ degree weather and sunshine on Saturday, but a pretty good chance of rain on Sunday. Let’s do that magical “no rain” dance in our collective heads and see if we can change that prediction.

By the way, the Calle is being worked on periodically but I have been assured by Parks and Recreation of Ashland that we will likely be open until the end of October. That is great news for all of us, but particularly for you wonderful artisans who make things that are perfect in cooler weather. I am specifically taking about the recycled wool sweater jackets created by Jasmine Patten, the fuzzy hats created by Debra VanPatten, and the wool caps made by the Hat People. The brooms made by Cheri Hammonds (aka the Broom Mama) are also a really cool item as we get closer to Halloween. Yes my pretty, those brooms are magical!!!
