The Lithia Artisans Market is trying something new this weekend. For the first time since I have been part of the market, 17 years by the way, we are offering a coupon for a 10% discount on one purchase. We had these coupon-business cards printed to pass out around town to encourage locals and tourists to visit us along the creek, behind the plaza in downtown Ashland, Oregon. Look for the person wearing the yellow and pink, large, top-hat. It’s like something from Alice in Wonderland … this person has the coupons. We will be passing these out during the Saturday Farmers Market along Oak Street in hopes to get some of those folks aware of the existence of the market. We will also be passing these out randomly when time is available. If you are slow and want to wander the plaza, grab the funny hat and a handful of coupons and pass them out. They are with Maria in the information booth.

If you are an artisan at Lithia Artisans Market and you get one of these coupons, you simply discount the price on the sale (10% off), then don’t pay the normal 10% on that particular sale when you check out at the end of the day with the manager, Maria.
