This is one of the busiest weekends of the summer in Ashland. It is graduation weekend for Southern Oregon University, it is our annual MidSummer’s Dream Art & Music Festival, and Michael Franti is playing at Britt Festivals in Jacksonville. A new one day festival is happening up at the Greensprings Inn called Nita Palooza (a benefit for a gal fighting breast cancer) on Sunday. Wow!!! Not to mention all the plays and regular cool things going on in Ashland this time of the year. What that means for the Lithia Artisans Market is that lots of people are going to out and about because there is no good reason to sit at home watching t.v. on a weekend like this.

Jean Bakewell and Kay Cutter are such regulars at Lithia Artisans Market, I can't imagine the Market without them.

The music will be great, as it always is at the Market this weekend. Here is the schedule…
Saturday, June 11
11:30-1:30     Paul Gerardi
3:00-5:00     Charles Guy
Sunday, June 12
11:30-1:30     Tim Church
3:00-5:00     Joseph Crowell
The weather looks promising for the weekend. Mid-70’s with clouds and sun. Keep your fingers crossed. Everyone I talk to seems really ready for some sunshine and warm weather. My hope for this weekend is that everyone rocks it! Whether you are on Calle Guanajuato, or joining the festival over at the Briscoe ArtWing (as many LAMA members are doing this weekend), let us all have a profitable and fun weekend.
