Here’s hoping for a sunny weekend. The weather has been tricky so far this season. Not sure if I remember a southern Oregon spring quite so wet and cold. However, the weekend is looking promising with Accuweather calling for temperatures in the upper 60’s. I know I will be thinking sunny thoughts, as we all should. More than 20 local artisans will be showing their handmade wares at this weekends outdoor marketplace along Ashland Creek.

Allison and Victor will be coming up to the Lithia Artisans Market on Sunday, May 22 to play their original tunes from 11:30 'til 1:30. They live in Dunsmuir, California. I have watched their musical evolution for years and consider this a real treat.

The music lineup is exciting …
Saturday May 21
11:30 ’til 1:30 Rod Petrone
3 ’til 5  Charles Guy
Sunday May 22
11:30 ’til 1:30 Victor & Allison
3 ’til 5 Beth & Craig Martin
Please check out this YouTube video of Aaron Reed that was recorded during the market last weekend. I am hoping to record musicians throughout the season, and get the market more web media exposure through YouTube. Our YouTube account is LithiaArtisans. You can subscribe to our channel at www.youtube.com/user/LithiaArtisans. Much more to come.

I have just created a new blog for MidSummer’s Dream — Ashland’s Premiere Art & Music Festival (Click here…).  I am excited to be back working with the folks at the Briscoe ArtWing to make this festival the success we all want it to be. I have also made a FaceBook (Click here…) page for the event. Please go check out the page and “like” it. If you are interested in participating but have not yet applied, the festival is still taking applications. Go to the main website and click on “Applications”, fill it out and send it in asap as space is limited. The website is www.midsummerfest.com. Peace.
