A few of our group of very talented artists and artisans will be up at the GrandFather of all shows, the Oregon Country Fair, this coming weekend. Not to worry, we have a great lineup of art, craft, and music for the weekend of July 14 and 15 at Ashland’s original outdoor artisan marketplace. Over 30 artisans will be showing this coming weekend including facepainting, henna body art, jewelry, photography, clothing, massage and much, much, more.
The latest in depth artisan interview is out in Locals Guide on news stands about town. The interview features long time Lithia Artisans Market member Karina Mendoza-Wittke, a jewelry maker since she was nine years old. Her story is fun, intriguing, and inspiring. The music lineup is again excellent as we have another new singer-songwriter to welcome into our midst. Levi Dean joins us Saturday afternoon for his first appearance at Lithia Artisans Market stage. Levi Dean, of the Americana-Roots ensemble Dean Station, is new to Southern Oregon making his way here from Nashville, Tennessee. “Levi Dean creates a progressive style that draws heavily on roots, rock, and bluegrass to make a distinct sound that is rooted in tradition, yet contemporary (from his biography).” We are honored to bring Levi to play for us at Ashland’s outdoor marketplace on Calle Guanajuato.
